Amorellaa odottavat Välimeren tuulet Corsica Sardinia Ferriesin laivastossa. Splitin sisaruksista ensimmäinen oli poikkeuksellisen reittiuskollinen, vaikka matkalle sattui myös kommelluksia.

Useat mediat välittivät elokuussa Viking Linen tiedotteen, jonka mukaan yhtiö oli myynyt M/S Amorella -aluksensa. Ostaja oli italialainen Corsica Sardinia Ferries - sama, joka vuonna hankki väreihinsä Amorellan entisen laivastokumppanin, M/S Mariellan. Näin entisistä Amorellasta ja Mariellasta tulee jälleen laivastokumppaneita, nyt vastaavasti nimillä M/S Mega Victoria ja M/S Mega Regina.

Vähin äänin kohti Välimerta

Viimeisen edestakaisen matkansa Viking Linen väreissä Amorella aloitti Helsingistä syyskuuta. Palattuaan Tukholmasta takaisin, vietti alus muutaman päivän Katajanokan laiturissa, jossa Viking Line todennäköisesti tyhjensi sen luovutuskuntoon. Amorella jätti Punaisen laivaston taakseen lopullisesti keskiviikkona syyskuuta. Alus lähti purjehtimaan Katajanokalta suuntanaan Italian Genova, jossa uusi omistaja tekee siihen tarvittavat muutostyöt, näkyvimpänä aurinkoisen keltaiset tunnusmaalauksensa, sekä myös kastaa aluksen oletet
